From three-year-old Freddy’s dad: “A special mention to Elton! We read it to Freddie while putting him to bed last night, and he was captivated from cover to cover. We couldn't put it down! So well done, I'm sure it’s going to be another huge hit.”

From a parent: “Picked up this absolute banger today, and can’t put it down between client meetings. 4 stories in one, brilliantly written and illustrated. Elton is well on the way to being a childhood classic. Well done, Elton will be a treasured volume.”

Wellington City Libraries has chosen Pakupaku Pīwakawaka to have its pages transformed into billboards for a nature trail in one of Wellington's central parks. WCL works with the city's Parks, Sports, and Recreation staff on a project called Te Ara Pukapuka (Book Pathways). The billboards will be placed throughout nature trails and reserve pathways in Wellington for tamariki and their whānau to discover while exploring the region.
